IF YOU’RE thinking about a long-haul holiday with guaranteed sunshine, then look no further than Jamaica.

For those who haven’t been, this is a slice of paradise that’s great for family fun and Falcon has come up with six great reasons to put Jamaica on your holiday radar.

1. The beaches are super-roomy

As the name suggests, Negril’s Seven Mile Beach really does have a whopping seven miles of sand.

That means there’s plenty of the stuff to go around, and lots of space for little ones to spread their wings.

2. The hotels are All Inclusive

All Falcon hotels in Jamaica are All Inclusive, which means you can expect buffet spreads that cater to all tastes, not to mention things like drinks and ice-creams on tap. That way, you won’t be worrying about your wallet while you’re away, as it’s all taken care of!

3. The sun is always shining

Jamaica gets sunshine all year round – the coolest temperature you’ll find is about 26 degrees in February.

4. The sea is like a Disney movie

Wade out into the water here and you’ll think you’re in a scene from Finding Dory. The underwater creatures come in all shapes and sizes, and tick off all the colours of the rainbow.

5. The activities are great for teens

There’s loads of activities for older children and teens. Snorkel out in the water, head off on a glass-bottomed boat, or set off on an excursion into the mountains – Dunn’s River Falls is one of the top attractions here. If your kids are younger, stay somewhere like the Hilton Rose Hall Resort And Spa in Montego Bay with its own waterpark - you may never want to leave!

6. The pace is set to slow

In Jamaica, chilling out is par for the course – the locals here have made it a way of life, so there’s no better antidote to hectic family life.

• Examples of prices at Falcon for a Jamaican holiday include a 14-night all-inclusive break staying at the 5-star Grand Palladium and departing on June 8, from €1,919 per person.
