Sayonara Bittencourt originally from Brazil now living in Glasnevin with ‘The Senior Room’.

THE very best in emerging digital talent was showcased in TU Dublin Blanchardstown last week at the Kaleidoscope exhibition for final year creative digital media students.

The exhibition featured projects from a number of Northside students including ‘Lost in our Galaxy’ by John Braga and ‘Disconnect’ by Andrew Rahamon, both from Castleknock.

Sayonara Bittencourt originally from Brazil and now living in Glasnevin won Project of the Year with ‘The Senior Room’.

They were among 26 students featured in Kaleidoscope, which exhibition included a diverse range of creatively crafted interactive design and motion projects.

Course Coordinator, Hugh McCabe, said the Kaleidoscope show was a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the wonderful work of students on the Creative Digital Media programme.

“On show is a range of projects in areas such as Interactive Storytelling, Short Film, Visual Effects, Digital Design, Installation and Gaming,” he added.

“It's a great chance for potential employers to meet with the best of emerging digital talent and also a great chance for the general public to enjoy the creativity and innovation of a new generation of digital natives." 

Also exhibiting were Aisling Power, Alan Murphy, Amanda Culligan, Ashley Farrell, Aoife Burke, Aqsa Khalid, Cian Daly, Conor Diggin, Conor Gunn, Diarmuid Costello, Dylan Lewis, Dylan Reilly, Eoghan O’Carroll, Jessica Abhilash, Megan Bredin, Milaela Egan, Neil Doughty, Padraig Hawkins, Sarah Mooney, Shauna Sheridan-Donnelly, Stephen Coyle, Tobi Ilori and Zithelo Mthombeni.
