Gardaí seek witnesses as body parts remain at scene in Coolock

Gardaí in Coolock are appealing for witnesses in relation to the discovery of human body parts found in a bag outside houses at the junction of Moatview Gardens and Moatview Drive last night.

The bag and remains are still at the scene pending the arrival of the Garda Technical Bureau. The Office of the State Pathologist and the Coroner have been notified.

Gardaí are asking any persons who have concerns for a loved they have not heard from in the last number of days to contact them at Coolock Garda Station. 

Gardaí continue to identify the human body parts with the assistance of Forensic Science Ireland. They wish to speak with any person who may have been in the Moatview Gardens/Drive area of Coolock, or on any adjoining roads, between 9.30pm and 10pm last night (Monday, January 13). In particular, gardaí are seeking assistance from any road users who may have dashcam footage from their vehicles.
