SENATOR Catherine Noone (FG) recently welcomed the Raheny Men’s Shed members to Leinster House for a tour.

Senator Noone, a Fine Gael candidate in Dublin Bay North for the general election, said the sheds are growing all over Ireland and the work they do is invaluable to the community and to its members.

“They give men an open space to socialise and take part in different projects. These kinds of organisations strengthen community links and improve the wellbeing of its members,” she said.

“It is great to see such community spirit being created in a safe and inclusive way. By supporting these kinds of organisations we make a considerable contribution to our neighbourhoods and communities.”
