KILMORE Youth Project opened its amazing new Community Garden Space on April 26.

Work has been ongoing on the garden space for the past six months, which is located in the grounds of Kilmore Recreation Centre.

Sharon Harvey, a community landscaper with fantastic creative talents, came on board and designed the garden along with youth project members and Trojan work has been taking place there, culminating in the fantastic community space.

Additional support was provided by the Community and Social Development Section, Recreation Section and Parks Sections of Dublin City Council.  Big thanks in particular goes to Project Leader Louise, to Sharon and to youth project members Scott and Brad who worked extra hard in the past few months to complete the garden space.

For more information on the Kilmore Youth Project, please contact Antoinette Hayden at antoinette.hayden@dublincity.ie

The hard work has paid dividends.
