A CELEBRATION Day was held in Coolock recently to mark the completion of a hugely successful refurbishment programme at Northside Shopping Centre.

The party day included music, entertainers, face painters and plenty of giveaways, with even the legendary Barney making an appearance much to the delight of local children.

In late 2013 Northside Shopping Centre began a major two-phase rebuilding and modernisation programme.

Phase 1 focused on the interior of the centre rejuvenating it from the ground up. This included a complete redesign of the interior with a new brighter colour scheme throughout.

The centre has now been transformed into a bright, clean and modern environment that is a pleasure to shop in and has helped to attract a number of new stores.

Phase 2 involved the complete modernisation of the exterior of the building and the Northside Shopping Centre brand, making the centre a more aesthetically pleasing focal point for the local community.

Barney makes his entrance much to the delight of the locals. Donna Daly, the ‘One Winner Takes It All’ winner, won €1,016.28 worth of prizes, and is pictured here with centre manager Alan McCabe.
