Cancer survivor to walk for St Luke’s Hospital
• Marie Malee is undertaking the 780 kilometre Santiago De Compstella pilgrimage walk for St Luke’s Hospital in Rathgar.
A CANCER survivor was so impressed with the care she received at a Southside hospital that she has decided to undertake a famous pilgrimage walk in northern Spain to raise funds for the staff. Dancers set for Vegas
• FX Crew will take part in the World Hip Hop Dance Championships.
A GROUP of Northside youths will fly the flag for Ireland in the World Hip Hop Dance Championships, which will take place in America in the coming months. The dancers from the FX Crew who train in the Streets Ahead Dance Studio in Santry won their place in the competitions after they scooped the top prize in the Junior Irish Crew Championships. More...

A NORTH county Dublin aid worker has issued a reminder to people to return Trocaire boxes to their local parish following her recent visit to north Uganda. Trocaire worker, Meabh Smith, who is originally from St Colmcille’s Crescent, Swords, recently visited the organisation’s work in north Uganda where communities are recovering from a brutal 20-year war.
