MoRunning

MoRunning is back in Dublin on November 23 with a 5k, 10k and kids’ 1.5k MoRun taking place in Phoenix Park.

The event is celebrating its 10th anniversary so expect good fun, lots of laughs, loads of smiles, high fives and not forgetting the fancy dress and funny moustaches. The event is a fundraiser for the Movember Foundation - a charity tackling men’s health on a global scale, year round. For full details see www.mo-running.com.

Make a Christmas Tree from Pallets

There’s a great event taking place at the Rediscovery Centre in Ballymun on Saturday, November 23 where you can learn how to make your own unique Christmas tree from old wood pallets.

Rediscover Furniture Programme Manager, Gerard Griffin, will teach you how to create a unique Christmas tree from recycled pallet wood. You will also be adding little shelves to the branches to help you add lots of Christmas decorations to your new tree.

Whiskey Live

Whiskey Live Dublin is back at The Printworks, Dublin Castle, Dame Street, Dublin 2, on Friday November 22, evening session (6-9.30pm, last pour 9.15pm) and Saturday November 23, afternoon session (1-4.30pm, last pour 4.15pm) and evening session (5.30-9pm, last pour 8.45pm).

The event showcases both the long established and new arrivals to the Irish whiskey scene and includes samples of the latest Irish whiskey releases as well as whiskies from across the globe including Scotland, Japan and the U.S.A. Dublin Art Book Fair

The ninth edition of the fair will take place over ten days at Temple Bar Gallery + Studios from November 21 to December 1. Ireland's only Art Book Fair, the event has grown into an impressive cultural event and platform for creative and cutting-edge publishers, big and small and a centre for the contemporary artist book.

Guest curator for the DABF 2019 main programme is Dr Kathleen James-Chakraborty, Professor of Art History at University College Dublin. For details see www.templebargallery.com.

Dickie Rock Farewell Tour

Dickie Rock is one of Ireland’s most loved and recognised singers and he still attracts a huge following of fans from all around the world. He has been performing and packing out venues throughout Ireland and Europe for over 50 years and is still going as strong as ever!

Joining Dickie on his farewell tour is star of Sunshine Radio, Paddy Cole, who’s been legendary in Irish show business ever since he first came to prominence in the 1960s with the Capitol Showband. True Spirit of Christmas Past

Taking place on Saturday, November 23 and selected dates through December, this will be a seasonal experience that reflects the original values of Christmas - family, charity, goodwill and happiness - and embraces and encourages an environmentally friendly festive celebration. It’s happening at Airfield Estate, Dundrum, where there’ll be log cabins, elves, a Victorian carousel and Santa. Pub Theatre

Get three one-act plays for one entrance fee in the Clonsilla Inn on Thursday or Friday, November 21 or 22. Coolmine Drama Circle is presenting three different stories but each with one purpose, to entertain. The plays, Drinking Companion by Alan Ayckbourn, Central Park West by Woody Allen and Is this the way to Amarillo? by Maura Flynn will provide a great night’s entertainment.

Dublin Psychic & Holistic fair
