Dún Laoghaire Vinyl Festival

The second Vinyl Festival is coming to Dún Laoghaire on November 1-3. The festival includes a series of discussions and seminars with a selection of international talented artists and musicians such as Horslips, Vicky McClure (Line of Duty/This is England), Liam O’Maonlai (Hothouse Flowers), Noel Hogan (Cranberries), Mary Coughlan, radio presenters Dave Fanning and Tom Dunne, and many more. The Cabinet of Curiosities

Immerse yourself in the world of Victorian Curiosities and Medicinal Remedies at Airfield Estate in Dundrum from 9.30am on November 1-3. 

Follow the trail sheet where you'll discover the secrets of cures made from local herbs or dragons blood.. alongside even more sinister alternatives. Meet the Keeper of Curiosities who ensures the fire burns and cauldrons bubble in the apothecaries' storehouse. Last admissions at 3.30pm.

Dublin International Tattoo Convention

Taking place this year at the RDS, the Tattoo Convention brings together people who share an interest in tattoos and piercing from November 1-3. 

The tattoo culture scene is amazing and full of open-minded people so it’s a great opportunity to get out and meet the people involved. It’s also a chance to network and exchange information on the latest techniques and trends.

There are, booths with products and services, competitions and contests, giveaways, art exhibitions and workshops related to the tattoo industry. For more details and ticket info see

Ballymun Past, Present and Future

Drop into the Rediscovery Centre in Ballymun on Saturday November 2 when the area’s rich historical past, its cultural present and its future will be explored. Events will be running from 12-3pm and will include tours, talks, demonstrations and photo exhibitions. All are welcome and the event is free to attend. The Sam Maguire trophy will also be on display on the day.

Dublin Beatles Festival

The Beatles take over the Workman’s Club on November 2 The day starts at 2pm with Not Exactly Carnegie Hall – a short play about The Beatles playing live in an illegal strip club in Liverpool in the summer of 1960. At 3pm there’s a competition to find the person in Ireland who knows the most about The Beatles and in the evening from 8pm there’s Beatles music from The Rockets and The Newspaper Taxi Men.
