topgear.jpgPOPULAR BBC show Top Gear Live is driving into Dublin’s RDS Simmonscourt on Thursday November 27 for a four-day event in association with Brown Thomas Menswear.
Details of the ultimate performance extravaganza were announced last week by hosts Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May.
Top Gear Live is an action packed 75 minute seated theatre show, hosted by Clarkson, Hammond and May. The show not only brings the TV format to life, it also features the most exciting cars on the planet, amazing special effects and a repertoire of breathtaking stunts, plus blockbusting driving sequences with some of the world’s best precision drivers.
Irish Top Gear fans can reserve Brown Thomas Limited Edition tickets for premium seats at the live show and entry to the exhibition area by calling 0818-300275 or book online www.rdsticketing.com. The first 2,000 people to reserve tickets will also receive a Brown Thomas Menswear Gift Card to the value of e50.
“Top Gear is one of the most popular TV programmes in Ireland and across the world,” said Show Director, Alan Binley.
“In fact, it is so popular that it would take 21 years for every person on the current waiting list for audience tickets to see the live recording of the show – that’s 336,000 people.
“So the live show is a great opportunity to live the Top Gear experience and we are expecting huge demand for tickets. We are delighted Brown Thomas Menswear has come on board and would strongly advise fans to start booking once the Brown Thomas Limited Edition tickets go on sale.”
Nigel Blow, CEO of the Brown Thomas group said the company was “absolutely thrilled” to be the headline sponsor of Top Gear Live.
“It’s a perfect marriage between the elite marques of the motoring world with our exclusive international menswear collections housed in our stunning new menswear department,” he said.
Alongside the live show will be a dedicated exhibition featuring a showcase of the very best cars, lifestyle products and the biggest motoring brands. The exhibition includes The Top Gear Hall of Fame, Stig’s Lair, Extreme Machines and Driving Experiences.
