transporter.jpgAs part of celebrations to mark the 60th anniversary of the Volkswagen Transporter, Paul Burke and his colleagues at Volkswagen Group Ireland have initiated a search to find Ireland’s classic Transporter van - the best example currently in existence here.
Owners in possession of such a vehicle are invited to post photos of their van along with stories relating to its history, journeys, maintenance or restoration projects to the Create your own Memories section at the website www.volkswagenvans.ie
Later this year, the best examples will be invited to showcase their vehicle at an event where the ultimate winner will be chosen.
