mazda2.jpgCar buyers can now check out the diesel version of the award-winning Mazda2 at North Dublin Mazda dealers Joe Duffy Mazda (North Road), Annesley Williams Ltd (Cloghran) and Park Motors (Navan Road).
The new Mazda2 Diesel displays the same athletic styling as the award-winning Mazda2 petrol model, which was introduced in September 2007 and became an industry trendsetter through Mazda’s clever weight-saving engineering technology.
With prices starting from just e15,995 the Mazda2 Diesel’s lightweight yet rigid body construction is 100kg lighter than its predecessor offering customers excellent fuel economy, reduced CO2 impact and low road tax.
“Owning a Mazda2 will be kinder to customer’s pockets due to the model’s ultra-low fuel consumption and annual road tax of just e100,” enthused David McGonigle, Managing Director, Mazda Motor Ireland.
“The efficient 1.4 litre diesel engine has been engineered to offer a lively and responsive drive to suit both city and open road driving with the Mazda2 offering customers one of the most competitively priced small cars currently on sale in the market.”
The Mazda2, which was named ‘World Car of the Year 2008’ earlier this year, beat an initial entry list of 39 new vehicles from all over the world, including the short-listed Ford Mondeo and Mercedes-Benz C-Class for the highly acclaimed title.
Not only is the Mazda 2 a unique and ground-breaking vehicle, it has also proved itself amongst the best in the adult occupant protection segment on European New Car Assessment Programme (Euro NCAP) crash tests - obtaining the highest possible rating of five stars.
The exceptionally generous standard equipment on the Mazda2 Diesel Touring model includes air conditioning, 15” alloys, AUX jack for MP3 players and electric folding and heated door mirrors.
To find out more about the exciting Mazda2 range or to arrange a test drive, call Joe Duffy Mazda on 8503939, Annesley Williams Ltd on 8428855 or Park Motors on 8691000.
