Psychic claims ‘demon dog’ haunts Dublin cemetery

A PARANORMAL investigator claims the spirit of a demon dog haunts Glasnevin Cemetery and that there is a ‘presence’ within a church in Finglas.
Martin Black is a paranormal private investigator and psychic who uses equipment such as an electromagnetic field meter, which is an instrument for measuring electromagnetic radiation, heat sensors and photographic and video recording equipment to investigate his cases.
According to the Tallaght man, a visit to the Church of the Annunciation on Cappagh Road, Finglas, revealed evidence of paranormal activity.
“We came across evidence that there is actually a presence on the church ground,” he told Northside People.
“We saw shadows and mist inside the church was is very unusual. We have camcorder evidence to prove this. You would definitely know there is an energy in the church.”
Mr Black also claims that the spirit of a dog roams Glasnevin cemetery where his owner is buried.
“The animal is known to be a demon dog which belonged to a historian who died in the 1700s,” he explained.
“The reason the dog is haunting the place is because he wouldn’t leave his master when he died.
“We managed to locate the grave of the dog’s owner even though it did not have any headstone. The electromagnetic meter definitely picked up something at the grave.”
He added: “The presence seemed to be telling us to get away from the grave and that we weren’t welcome there.”
According to paranormaldata base.com, “the Newfoundland dog sometimes appears at the grave of John McNeill Boyd.
“After Boyd drowned, the dog refused to leave his master’s grave and slowly starved to death,” the website states.

The ghostbuster also claims he has also found paranormal activity in Ballymun library.
“A World War Two book by an author called Stewart is thrown to the ground involuntarily in full view for all to see,” Mr Black said.
“It just pops out of nowhere when no one is near it.”
He continued: “We actually have camcorder evidence that is being analysed at the moment to make sure that no props or gimmicks are involved in the action.”
Mr Black said he often works on trying to dismiss paranormal activity from private residential homes and usually holds a séance with the families occupying particular houses in an attempt to persuade spirits to leave.
However, he said in some cases persuading a presence to leave certain dwellings requires more than his own powers as a medium.
“If I am not strong enough to force the medium to go or the force is more vicious or evil than normal then you would have to go to the higher powers or someone like a bishop to bless the house.
“There was one house in Tallaght, for instance, where the medium wouldn’t leave and it took five people including myself to make him leave.”
He added that while he accepts donations from people who employ him to investigate cases, he rarely demands a fee for his services and only charges in cases where the job necessitates the use of expensive equipment.
