AUDI’S DETROIT STUNNER

Making its appearance at the 2008 Detroit Auto Show is this Audi R8 6-litre, V12 TDI concept model.
Equipped with the first 12-cylinder diesel engine produced for a high-performance road going sports car, its engine is closely related to the engine in the two-times Le Mans winning Audi R10.

Statistics show it has a 0-100 km/h time of just 4.2 seconds and a top speed of well over 300 km/h. Peak torque is reached at only 1,750 rpm, paving the way for effortless acceleration that is unrivalled even at this level.
