mazda1.jpgSOUTH Dublin Mazda dealers Phoenix Motors (Bluebell) and Sandyford Mazda (Sandyford Motor Park) will be tempting car buyers with an even wider choice of vehicles this summer now that the full range of Mazda6 models are available in their showrooms.
The new Mazda6 Hatchback and Estate models display the same sleek and athletic exterior design as the already popular Mazda6 Saloon but offer customers even more flexibility with the added bonus of additional boot space to help cater for all lifestyles.
With prices starting from just e27,945 the full Mazda6 line-up includes a choice of five specification levels, four engine variants and is available in both petrol and diesel.
“Demand for the new Mazda6 since its launch has been extremely healthy, with the 1.8L petrol saloon being one of our best selling models this year,” said David McGonigle, Managing Director of Mazda Motor Ireland.
“Refinement, excellent driving dynamics and fuel efficient engines are attracting new customers to the brand and the entire cabin has been designed to suit our customers’ needs.
“The Mazda6 Estate boasts one of the widest boots in its class, offering customers a range of practical solutions for daily use, while a key feature throughout the range is the unique Karakuri rear seat folding system that drops the 60/40 rear seats down by simply pulling a latch in the boot trim. Additionally rear passengers can now travel in more comfort due to increased head, shoulder and knee space,” he added.
The new Mazda6 range is also highly economical to run as the Mazda6 1.8 Petrol is lighter by 35kg compared to the outgoing model; improving the car’s fuel efficiency and ensuring one of the lowest CO2 emissions of only 159g of any petrol car in its class.
Diesel customers can avail of the updated MZR-CD 2.0-litre common-rail turbo diesel that has been improved to offer a cleaner yet more responsive drive. Producing 140ps, this engine uses 6.6 per cent less fuel than the previous Mazda6 Diesel Saloon model, delivering 5.6L/100km (50.4mpg) for combined use.
To find out more about the exciting Mazda6 range or to arrange a test-drive, call Sandyford Mazda (Dublin 18) on 2069200 or Phoenix Motors (Dublin 12) on 4601777.
