grande.jpgFiat Group Automobiles Ireland has announced the details of a new finance programme where buyers can get one year’s comprehensive insurance for the incredibly low figure of just e99.
The operation is very simple and applies to all Fiat cars with petrol engines up to and including 1.4 litres, so models from the Fiat 500, Grande Punto, Bravo and Dobló ranges are included.
Buyers who choose one of these models and arranges finance with Permanent TSB can have fully comprehensive insurance for one year for just e99 from Allianz, one of the nation’s largest insurance companies.
The models covered by this e99 offer include Fiat 500 (1.2 and 1.4), Panda (1.1, 1.2, Panda Climbing 1.2 and Panda 100HP), Grande Punto (1.2 8v, 1.4 8v, 1.4 16v, 1.4 16v Sporting, 1.4 T-Jet), Bravo (1.4 16v and 1.4 T-Jet) and Dobló 1.4 seven-seater - that’s nearly 40 model versions in all.
Adrian Walsh, chief operating officer of Fiat Group Automobiles Ireland pointed out that this programme was in line with Fiat’s tradition of offering outstanding value for money.
“Supported by two of the most respected names in their fields, Permanent TSB and Allianz, we are now able to bring further value and savings to our range, at an astoundingly low cost to buyers,” he said. “I have no doubt that thousands of car owners will recognise the outstanding value we are offering and will be beating down our dealers’ doors.”
Here’s an example of how the finance programme works: Fiat Grande Punto 1.2 5-door: Recommended Retail Price: e14,945
Deposit/trade in: e4,600
Amount to be financed: e10,345
36 x monthly repayments of: e199
Final payment: e5,250
Total: e17,139
APR 9.4 per cent
Weekly equivalent: e45.95
