ART EXHIBITION: Gerard O'Grady and students present an exhibition and sale of paintings on Friday, May 7 from 7-9 pm and on Saturday, May 8 from 11-5pm at 3, Brookside Terrace, Dundrum, Dublin 14.

HISTORY: The topic for the 8.30pm meeting on Tuesday, May 4 of the Kilmacanogue History Society in the Glencormac Inn, Kilmacanogue, Co Wicklow will be 'The IRA and Nazi Germany - The Wicklow Connection'. It will be presented by Dr David O' Donoghue. All welcome - admission e3.

SOCIAL CLUB: The Wednesday Club is a long established social club which caters for persons in the 50s and 60s age group who are widowed or unattached. DCU CONFERENCE: DCU is holding a conference on Thursday, May 6, from 9am to 4.30pm which will showcase past and current work from the perspective of older learners, DCU student volunteers and the academic community, as well as provide workshops on three themes central to the project: health/wellbeing and the older learner, integrating senior learners in third-level education, and uses and benefits of ICT and social media for older learners.
