FREE EVENT: To celebrate Fairtrade Fortnight (February 25 – March 9), Global Action Plan in association with the Ballymun Fairtrade Steering Committee, are inviting people to come along to the screening of ‘Black Gold’ on Thursday March 6 in the Axis centre, Ballymun at 7:30pm. HOSPITAL VOLUNTEERS: Children in Hospital Ireland is appealing for volunteers for PlayWell, our hospital play service. PlayWell volunteers are needed to organise play activities for the sick children in Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin and Children’s Hospital, Temple Street. Volunteers should be over 18 years of age, enthusiastic, caring and reliable, and have two/three hours, either morning or afternoon, once a week (Monday to Friday) to spare.
