motorfans.jpgSome of the rarest cars ever built will be on display at the 18th Irish Classic and Vintage Motor Show that will be held at Terenure College on Sunday, July 5 from 11am to 5.30pm.
The day of classic bliss will evoke memories of a bygone era for thousands of enthusiasts and their families.
With its unique combination of trade, clubs, auto jumble and showbiz razzmatazz, the event is a colourful celebration of veteran, vintage and classic motoring.
Children will also be well catered for with various rides, competitions and bouncy castles.
Featuring over 1,000 exhibits from the golden age of motoring, everything on wheels will be on display, from pedal cycles, scooters, motor cycles, three wheelers, custom-cars, kit cars to vintage, veteran and classic automobiles, fire engines, commercials, American limousines and military vehicles.
All these treasured vehicles will be judged, and cups and awards will be presented to the winners of the various categories.
The Lord Mayor of Dublin will travel to the show in a cavalcade of vintage cars escorted by 30 Harley Davidsons from the Mansion House at 1.30pm arriving at Terenure College at about 1.50pm.
The Irish Classic and Vintage Motor Show is sponsored by AXA Insurance and all proceeds go to Cheeverstown House which provides services to people with an intellectual disability.
