st.jpgFANS of St Patrick’s Athletic Football Club presented Keith Fahey with their Player of the Year award recently and wished him every success with his move to Birmingham City FC.
Fahey joined the English club following a fabulous season with the Saints in which he was also named PFAI Player of the Year.
A select group of St Pat’s fans, including Derek Delaney Snr and Jnr, Ian Whelan, Joey Robinson and Kevin McCabe, who didn’t miss a game home or away all season, presented Keith with his award.
St Pat’s manager, Johnny McDonnell, presented Keith with a framed photo that was taken just after he scored the winning goal against Bohemians in a league game earlier in the season.
“This photo says it all about Keith Fahey, always a smile on his face and always enjoying his football whether in training or playing a match – a true professional,” stated Mr McDonnell.
The Inchicore club’s staff and supporters thanked Keith for his performances for the Saints and wished him all the best on his move to England.
